Insome ways, Leona's version of 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' helped to bookend things in more ways than one. Not only was it an end of the decade capper, but the very iconic band she was covering would also cease to exist at the end of 2009. In many ways, the song just felt both prophetic & poignant. 'Cause all of the stars.
Itwas one of the first Oasis songs I ever heard, and I was immediately hooked. It's such a sudden change of tone from Hung In A Bad Place, but it sounds great, like it was executed perfectly. I love the live version they did in Japan in 2002 with Noel's guitar throughout the song. It's such a nice sounding song.
